Complete Camshaft Kit with Ceramic Rollers
Note
Before Roller Lifters are replaced, the “H” Rings should be inspected. The function of the “H” Rings is to accurately align the Lifter Rollers with the Cam Lobes. If the Lifters have excessive clearance, allowing misalignment, the “H” Rings must be replaced. (The “H” Rings are pressed into the block, therefore correct tooling/procedures must be used.)
After new “H” Rings are installed, the Lifters should have free vertical travel, the Rollers must be aligned accurately and minimum angular rotation confirmed. If your rings are loose in the bore, 8512-001 (.0015in Oversize) or 8512-003 (.0030in Oversize) are available to obtain a proper fit.
